MB: Kinda hungry, eh? Then here's something to chew on...VERT: owns and operates 33 different e-commerce communities (job opportunities, classifieds, product info, etc.) has an IPO tomorrow. Its done a good job of growing losses...9 mos ended 9-30-98 (3.27) share vs (1.12) per share a year-ago. So good at it that the underwriters (lead is Lehman, followed by H&Q, Volpe and Wit Capital) decided to up the price of the 3.5mm share offering from $8-$10 to $12-$14, and then again to $16.00. So how many should I buy on the way to its going to $10,000, and do you wanna bet the underwriters allow margin purchases?<G>
