Gary, thanks for the posting...one thing we dead agree on is your comment:

>>The minute you puke up your shares, it'll be up 10 points the next day. It absolutely never fails.<<

I agree. I'm actually not very frustrated by the stock (I subscribe to the Buffet mantra of buying only when you don't mind seeing a stock go down 50% because you'd like to buy more).

Rambus is my third largest holding...and will soon be my second, even if it continues going down.

My best,

Gary,

Note how the size of the bids and asks are consistently 100 shares. You never see big bids/offers, even when a 10K block goes off. It's just the nature of the beast

I have noticed this. Why is this? No one ever bids or asks say 5K. I do see 1K bids/asks but very rarely do I see 3K, 10K, etc...Is this simply to not spike the price upward or downward? Assuming that if the MM's knew someone was going to buy a block, they would right away raise the ask?

Sorry about the dumb q!

MileHigh

gary,
i have tons of respect for your plentiful, insightful posts
your theory of frustration regarding the daytrading of stocks i, myself follow day to day, is true for every stock i follow . i think shibumi summed it up very well in his previous post.

btw. if you go back in his writings, i do believe you will find he has never wavered in his support of rdrm nor have the other true techies on this thread.
nor have i. but then i don't know anything about computers. what is an rdram?
