Some good news about DELL....

ROUND ROCK, Texas, Feb. 10, 1999 -- Dell Computer Corporation (Nasdaq:DELL) recently made its largest single online sale - more than $7 million of Dell® notebook PCs purchased directly through a Premier Pagessm Web site. Dell's worldwide on-line sales surpassed $10 million per day in 1998, reflecting a dramatic surge in purchases by corporate customers via www.dell.com and Dell's Premier Pages service.

GO DELL!!

To the Honorable Voltaire:

You, sir, are a venerable and esteemed genius. Options traders know that you make the bet by selling the calls on underlying stock you own rather than buying them, depending of course, on the implied volatilities.

If you're looking to bet on a stock, for Pete's sake (never figured out who Pete was), buy the stock. Otherwise, take a trip to Vegas. At least the rooms are air conditioned, the activity frenetic (just like the floor of any exchange or your Level II screen), and the odds, more favorable. IMO.

I am indebted to your posts.

Best regards,

Mark A. Peterson

Voltaire,

True if there is significant time premium erosion, not otherwise. Therefore hardly an issue for LEAPS.
