It could end up to ATT's benefit considering the possibility that other smaller cable companies could under mind ATT, by offering AOL as a lure to their cables. My area is covered by MediaOne. We also have RCN which campaigned and won the right to compete with MediaOne, and has also done this in surrounding towns that have TimeWarner and other big outfits. Issues such as this is what companies like RCN build on.

Say maybe after the govt gets over its bogus MICROSOFT case they can go after the companies that want a cable monopoly and GEE>>>>> no innovation FOREVER as soon as the ole fed steps in! Let us hope everyone will be nice nice and play well soo........AOL will be soon onto our TVS!!!!!!!! What about AOL and Web TV !!!!!!! Stay long and stay strong mates!!!!!
