And Office98 for Mac was released in Japanese within a month of the US release, so all those iMacs in Japan are a revenue source (actual or potential depending on the bundling deal).

For those who never see this part of the site that's well-advertised in the Mac press, but well-hidden from the Win masses, it's worth a look:

Does this make a good argument that it does not take a dominant position in operation system to be successful in application software. Just a thought.
