Interesting reading anyway.

Let's compare some of the products mentioned with MRVC's announced or unannounced products:

Flowwise's Router Accellerator: $9,950 and speeds up routers to 100MBps
MRVC's new Accelarouter: $13,995 and speeds up routers up to 40GBps (400 times faster)

Juniper's topline M40 Internet Router 20GBps - Base price $55K, OC-12 cards $25K
Argon Networks Core Router (20GBps and stacks up to 8 boxes for 160GBps)
MRVC's upcoming ARANEA (250GBps and clusters at least 4 for 1000GBps), price unknown

... and more pleasant :-) I might add for the longs of MRVC during the last six months ... at least it will take away the pain permanently! :-(

Implications of this sentiment however: MRVC has reached the max-pain point and there are no sellers available now below this level. Its only up from here imho!
