That's what I'm guessing, Pallisard. I was told by FRB in December that they would be working on getting UL approval in NI simultaneous with production, but that it was not a requirement for all customers.

One of the reasons may be that the as-yet-unnamed repackager(s) perform their own UL approval in-house. I know this is true of the larger repackagers often mentioned in conjunction with Valence. Since UL approval must be re-obtained for batteries produced after the lines are modified to some degree, it's reasonable that the final process was delayed until the final batch of production batteries was shipped for testing by the repackager. My best speculation was that after Valence got their laptop line 'tweaked' one last time, and made some batteries, then held them in quarantine for 30 days, and then shipped them to the repackager, we were into January. If this timeline is true, then the December filing could not state emphatically that the batteries 'had met all specs.'

Mr. Roberts' insider purchase during the first week of January indicates he's not worried about the batteries not being accepted by the customers. So I'm not worried, either.

I suspect we finally are ever-so-close to a material event, and the customer(s) are holding Lev back from saying anything until they are ready to start their marketing campaigns, sell the goods, and show us the money. BTW, I've been 'long' a few years, so I've felt the false hopes before. This is different. The unknowns are dwindling to very few...
