Shorting the puts?? Geeze, sort of complex for me Jason.

OK..... I buy and sell calls and puts now. I've called on several occasions to "write" puts, but I'm not approved to do such at Schwab. I'd need to go in and sign some forms.

OK, please bear with my lack of experience. You phrased that very clearly, so...... is this correct??..... writing puts is the same as shorting them, and you get to keep the $8 ($800 for every contract)?

If so, yeah, that does sound good. I tend to look for rockets mixed in with a bunch of bottom sinkers, so I don't tend to look for clever plays like this. Suzman would like this one??
