Tobin is a charmer, he likes to hear himself talk...

And that makes him different from every other premier Newfoundland has ever had in what way???

He has no substance and when confronted he is not smooth...

self serving and will sell anyone to get what he wants.

He is a product of Ottawa(hill)

As is every Newfoundlander who has had every bit of work ethic ground out of them by government handouts. The very fact that whenever there is a problem in Newfoundland, everyone starts crying for the government to fix it is testament to the depths to which Newfoundlanders have fallen.

as he was but a boy when he left the rock...

If we start categorizing Newfoundlanders by when they left Newfoundland then half of the people born in Newfoundland are second class Newfoundlanders because the had the good sense to get out rather than sit around on their butts.

He has no formal education, only the alley stuff...

As opposed to say Craig Dobbin or Rick Mercer or any number of successful Newfoundlanders who everyone thinks are just terrific.

A stranger who is raping our lands...

Funny that when it is your back yard expanding a primarily resourced based economy is raping the land, but when it is in Chile it is a great business opportunity.

I dearly love Newfoundland, but there is no way that a change of government will mean that the province will be run any less incompetantly than it has been in the past. Newfoundland will continue to be run like a Third World country because brain drain will continue to siphon the talent elsewhere and the only thing left to drive the economy are its natural resources.
