I believe Armsrong's position has always been any athm user my access anyone else's content....for a price....I.e., $40 for athm and if you want AOL, pay an extra $9.95 (aka "bring your own access")
I agree I am surprised if Armstrong is changing his paddle midstream..he has been adamant about forced bundling being a "deal breaker" with re: T-TCI merger...
In fact I will be really pissed as an ATHM shareholder if he does
