TJ - ASCT -

Excellent post. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I was thinking along similar lines, although probably would not sell my current shares. I seem to be good at picking the daily highs and lows of this stock, just at the wrong point in time (buying the high, selling the low). I'll try to take what the market gives me, though.

Good luck.

llater,
Tony B

Trader J,

ASCT

I can't help but feel that expectations for this stock have changed dramatically. I was under the impression that an announcement was due Thursday AM after a company meeting this PM. I am holding shares @ 5 3/8 and am disappointed to see so much selling.

No complaint here about anyone taking a profit or covering their behinds, but just a little surprised that the news is finally here and people are getting out.

Maybe a slow market has some of you worried.

Kudos from me too :o)
Excellent perspective. Thanks.

As a late comer to the party I have to laud those that found this little nugget. The digging I've done just recently shows ASCT to be a pretty decent little company. Easier to say of course since I'm ahead a few 8ths.

For the ACST group here, this was filed yesterday...don't know if anyone's familiar w/Burr, Egan & Deleage...they're holding %9.7%... edgar-online.com

Also, as far as TMex goes, I recall his first mention a few weeks ago. From experience, when the rumor fails repeatedly, it becomes harder to stimulate interest. The price action since Thanksgiving does not show a lack of interest. So what the heck am I saying...not sure...oh yeah...I think whatever action is out there due to the rumor is more widespread than TMex.

I'll place some stop losses before the open. I'm leaning towards minimizing a loss vice protecting a profit however, as this will give me more room to the downside to suck up the volatility tomorrow.

Good luck. LB

I appreciate your being willing to post your thoughts on ASCT publicly, Jeff.

I have not bought into ASCT for a number of reasons, one of which is the highly speculative nature of buyout rumor plays. I've told some of you privately, including Jeff last night, that I'm concerned that those of you who are not able to watch this issue very closely today might be caught in a landslide if the news is either delayed or less than stellar. Please be very careful today.
