I agree with most of what you said in your long-winded message, and I don't feel like picking and choosing the points which I don't agree with. You can guess which points I don't agree with anyway. But like I told my coworkers, Intel already knows (or had better learn soon enough) that the days of kicking back and relaxing are over. Intel needs to adapt into a role where it's no longer the only player in town. If IBM can do it, so can Intel.
