E-mail from GMGC IR posted on Yahoo..It clears up a lot of questions...Looks like the VUI will actually be on the GMGC NOC like the Wireless Article stated......GMGC will also get paid by the minute.

Dear Mitchell:

I thought I would begin by explaining the Revolv offering for you. We are going to provide our magicTalk voice user interface to the Revolv service offered by Wireless Knowledge. For this partnership, our magicTalk VUI runs in our Network Operations Center. General Magic receives revenue for each minute of use in our NOC. Revolv is not Portico, Revolv is a new service that provides a way for enterprise customers to access their corporate information remotely. The first offering of Revolve provides access to Microsoft Exchange information residing on an enterprise customer's premises. General Magic is providing voice control over the MS exchange data.
In terms of the press release we issued jointly with Wireless Knowledge on Monday regarding this agreement, I though I would explain the process to you. Public companies are required by law to issue press releases to the major wire services (Dow Jones, Reuters, Bloomberg, etc.). This is accomplished through the services of either Business Wire or PR Newswire (we use Business Wire). So, we send the press release to Business Wire, and they in turn issue it to all of the news houses. These news houses (like Dow Jones) choose to "run" a story, or not. In the case of Monday's Wireless Knowledge announcement, they did not run the story. In our effort to be proactive, we always alert the appropriate editor at the wire services as we issue the press release. We are unable to force them to run our stories, it is at their discretion. As General Magic is a small company, the editors may choose to not run our story in lieu of a release from a larger company.

I hope this helps you to appreciate our efforts in this regard. In addition to sending press releases to Business Wire and calling the wire service editors, we also put the release on our website, fax it to a list of interested investors, brokers and analysts, send it to media we think are interested in the story, and distribute it at any corresponding events. If you have any other ideas for increased communication, I'd love to hear them.

Very truly yours,

Wendy Carhart
