What in the heck did a Placer Mine need a Jaw Crusher for?

Sooner or later,,,Everyone of these old mine sites ends up as a open pit.....Seen it too many times before---This time I'm in front of the line!

Lets face it,,,No one except the shareholders wants to see a new 'Worlds Largest Gold Mine' with production costs expected to be around 180.00 per ounce.......
