I owned Novartis for a while and made some decent money on it. I think that there is a good match as far as the strategies of the two companies goes. Novartis has been heading down the life sciences, dirt-to-dinner road for a while, too. I don't know how/if it would work from a corporate culture perspective. Of course, the best thing of all...there is no Yahoo! board for Novartis (I get tired of the NOISE level on the Yahoo! MTC thread). Besides, my kids drink lots of Ovaltine (Novartis).
