HiTech,
I understand what you mean about libertarians. I was once a card-carrying libertarian, but gave it up for lent (I still hold the underlying philosophies though). The problem that I found (generalization coming) with libertarians is that there is a general isolationist and compassionless tone. I like my privacy, but I am gregarious. I don't believe in forced charity (welfare), but I am actively a charitable person.

I think that too many libertarians chose the party because it will justify the "I vant to be left alone" feelings and the "git yer hands of my cash" feelings, rather than the underlying philosophy of personal responsibility. As long as that is the case, the libertarians will have a tough time convincing voters that things will be better for each individual.

Problem with both the Dems and Reps is that they are machines rather than representatives who's philosophies align with the party.

All with a heavy dose of IMHO.

You would like the Jorjtopian party. We don't take ourselves too seriously, We take responsibility for our actions and most importantly....We have fun. Sometimes though some of my more rambunctious peronsalit...I mean members get out of control.
