Hello billwot. I just checked MY Yahoo early today and looked at a cpl of news items. Pretty interesting stuff out there today. If you are looking at techs, have you ever looked at WCOM? Check under their news. Well, I guess you should feel very comfortable about AOL today. gg. So do I. I own 700 shares spread over taxable and non taxable accounts. So every time AOL goes down, I breath heavy and when it goes up, well, it's a joy to look at. I had been thinking: What am I going to do with 1400 shares, when it splits, since it is so volatile. But, what the heck. gg. Greenspan is doing a good job so far. Tough sledding with those Congress guys today. One guy just asked him if he was not worried with this wealth effect for only 1/3 of the population (stock market) and he said: NO. I guess you know what party asked that question. gg. I am not so sure about this 1/3. I think there are more people out there in the stock market even if it is only through their jobs. I guess this guy was trying to figure out how our savings and investments could get spread around a bit between the non savers. Most people can save some today even if that should mean less McDonalds etc. Forget this last statement since my grandchildren own MCD. gg. Let's hope the market stays up. But 1;30 is not far away. If we can make it over that hump, we may make it through the last hour. It's a long weekend coming up and the money should find a place to rest. gg. Almost forgot. Don't fret. I have more CPQ than Dell. If you look at CPQ at 43 and at Dell at 97, CPQ's move of 1 1/2 does not look too bad. And they have their own internet site. BTW. I don't have a stock in the red today so far. The last one just turned to black. Sonny
