Ben, I agree with your console observations but I think you missed an important point I was trying to make. My angle on the console was to make it totally compatible with the PC. Using TDFX chips and Glide, gamer would buy off the shelf pc games to play on their console. My understanding about the console world is that they make money on the software (% of sales, etc.) and lose money on the actual box. A profitable box could be an obstacle to do this. Anyway. just thinking out loud. Joe C.
