An Avatar is a user selected computer generated character that acts as your personal agent to search out information on the products on which you are interested. The RDIM Avatar demo that we saw in Vegas showed a very attractive woman with an English accent. She had made a search for a customer based on his shopping needs and was ready to discuss what she had found with the customer saving him time from having to make that search himself. The discussion that ensued was based on what she had found based on the customer's interest in purchasing a couch and the customers well researched buying profile. 3 D modeling was used to fit a representation of a couch that the customer liked into a rendering of the Club Member's living room produced after the customer had supplied the company with a photo of his living room.
