It's a nice dream but it tends to ignore the cyclical nature of this business. P/Es are high at the bottom of the cycle and low at the top.

If we could hold a P/E of 300+ to the top of the next cycle, then everyone in the world could become a billionaire.

Not too likely in my lifetime however.

I would just as soon believe in the tooth fairy than believe that a 284 P/E is justified on year 2000 earnings.
