Good example: I am totally against licensing, certification, etc which merely serves to set up an "elite" in that particular occupation who can say who does and doesnt work in it. And of course gives our government the ability to take away what the licensed person has earned!! How dare they!
I have friends who are behind in child support being threatened with loss of drivers license and professional licenses. Now there's a smart move, take away a person's ability to earn a living and it will solve the problem, right?

I know a woman who was tested out of physical therapy as a profession even though the hospital where she interned said she was one of the best ever.
It doesnt matter how good you are, only that you get your piece of paper, arrogantly handed you by some govt official. I remember when I moved to Ca, I stopped in Sacramento to get a Ca teachers certificate. They informed me that I had the right prerequisites but that the colleges now are in charge of giving out credentials. THe local state college said "We wont give you a Ca credential unless you take some classes first." I said "But Sacramento said...." The prof said "But they dont order the credential, we do, and we want you taking classes, do you want the credential or dont you?"
Of course I took the classes. Force. Fraud. Thats where govt programs lead.
Au revoir.
