Seoul--Feb 11--South Korea's duty-free zinc exports to Japan under the
Generalized System of Preference (GSP) are expected to fall sharply in the
Japanese fiscal year which begins Apr 1, traders in South Korea said today.
Chinese zinc suppliers, meanwhile, are also becoming more pessimistic after
canceling their scheduled visit to Japan to discuss GSP sales with Japanese
buyers. By Dong-Won Suh in Seoul and Polly Yam in Hong Kong, Bridge News,

<< Claude, I don't have much faith in Skorpian. Not exactly conventional milling. Some sort of clay leach project. >>

Indeed Jack... very unique project.

But they have feasibility in hand and a pilot plant was done apparently very successfully. We will see what Anglo's says. He they back off...maybe that will be that they don't have faith either.

Accha (Savage/SWG) has similar materials. I am told that these are zinc carbonates or silicates. There are 4-5 operations around the world treating these type of ore...successfully I was told. Accha has performed metallurgical test which returned 80-90% recoveries.

Do you know more about the Skorpion deposit ?
