Tough one to call, however, I'm certain that all statements made are carefully crafted to give the illusion of extreme cooperation and compromise without necessarily committing to anything. This strategy enables T to efficiently plan and build the business while minimizing the distractions of having to fight localized battles. Makes good sense to me. Strength can be built given time. This approach helps buy that "time". IMHO.
