The dividend is payable to those who own stock up to market close today 2/11/99. The company will tell you this if you call them. SOWK stock will trade at 5 times less after today so for people to think they wont get dividend because it might be the settlement date are not thinking logically. That would mean those who bought today would lose 80% of their investment tomorrow...now the dividend stock wont be tradable till after settlement date is true because the stock needs to be delivered before it can be traded, this is why shorts need to be careful if they get a margin call.Again do your own research and don't take my word or anyone else on these threads.
