Wrong! Gator is entirely right! This is awesome news for SNMM! Harrah's and Microsoft are the first big players to jump into this market. Sounds like they have most of their "cards" in order. But now that they've broken the ice do you think the rest of the competition is just going to sit back and let Harrah's take all the market share? The other big boys (e.g. Bally's, Resorts, MGM, Trump, etc.) will be jumping in on the action quicker than you can say "hit me"! But these guys are all experts in land-based casino operations. NOT on-line casino operations. The most expedient route to diversification of a company is through acquisition. These big boys will be fighting to get their hands on the most advanced technology they can. Who's the leader in on-line gaming operations???? That's right!!

Put yourself in Donald Trump's place, for example. Harrah's just opened their site, and is raking in the dough. You have a choice, Donald. You can either go out, hire a staff of high-priced programmers and internet experts to start developing new technology that you can use to compete against Harrah's sometime in the next year or two. Or you can acquire a company that already has solid on-line casino technology in place (spelled S-N-M-M), have your new SNMM people change a few graphics and be up and running with the Trump "Taj Mahal On-line) within the week! What would you do?

My prediction: As soon as the big land-based casino operators realize what they're missing out on, one of them is going to pay major bucks for Starnet! No, the starnet name probably won't be around very long. But their leading edge technology certainly will!

LONG SNMM!!!

We, each can have our opinion...I really like VCR-AMEX, and low and behold, this morning they were mentioned as a good investment on CNBC...Freaked me out but, then again, I really liked the fundamentals and the business plan :> :>

I haven't had a chance to read the board, or watch the market all day, as I'm just getting home from the office...

My first reaction, for those that are uncomfortable, would be to sell!! You do not need more worry in your lives!!! I'm sticking it out for the long run...Everyone at GGNC (yahoo) is doing a CYA about earnings...SNMM is in a similar situation, next quarter will always be better...but GGNC (well, I'll keep my mouth shut)...

I totally disagree with those that have done some "undeclared shorting" and are now under margin pressure...Let's be real!!!

I would like to see it at 0.40 again so I could buy 1/4 Mil worth of shares :> Hey, I'd sell my wife!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

More later after I get my steak off the grill...Gator

BTW, Check out my brother's web site at: goodcooking.com
, he does a mean brisket...was watching the rerun on WBZ-TV in Boston :>
