I must say, its unusual for a company executive to make public projections like this. Especially given the volatile history, and share-holder lawsuits that have been related to previous forward looking statements from the company. Mr. Ambler is either (a) very confident or (b) unaware of, or ignoring, the dangers of making statements like this.

"Based on the positive feedback from a number of potential customers who have reviewed Jene,Ambler said he is comfortable with projecting revenue of $40 million in 2000 and earnings of 85 cents a share."

I hope its choice (a).

P.
