Les,

I bet that 1995 Clinton quote was an
attempt to raise taxes. When you want
to raise taxes, tell the people the
government is broke. When you want
to spend money, tell em their rich!

Of course this brings up the Clinton
State of the Union speech where he
said that America is rich yet he also
mentioned 10 different new taxes on
everything from cigarettes to the
awards on personal injury lawsuits.
Nobody questioned the guy...not even
the Republicans. What is it with Clinton
that everyone is so afraid to object to
another one of his delusions?
