AMD has had 3DNow for quite a while now. Intel is playing catch up with the introduction of KNI.

Which do you think will be more widely supported by the software industry, a chip from a company that has a long history of disappointing customers due to the inability to deliver its product or a chip from the runaway leader in the field with Billions and Billions served? Which is more cost-effective to customize your code for (so you'll sell the most units)?

When are the K6-3 and K7 chips going to ship in volume? You'll most likely be able to buy a PIII-based computer the week of the announcement.

Yada-yada-cpu-id-yada-yada. (I thought I'd say it for you.)
