You said it well. And it is all true. I, too, wake up each day not knowing where stock/market is going. But I will see it if trend is in place. You can't hope or wish it up or down. Dave and I both don't try to place an identity on a stock. I might check the news on it and see what group it is in, but I usually forget it in a hour or so.

I might find the "oil" stock is a "computer software" company after a day or so.

I recommend to everyone, Stay AWAY from the stock topics. If a stock will move, it will show up in scans and charts. Don't make the stock a living thing, it is only a symbol.

It sound like you have found the "Secret" to TA........ You do not need to know every deep dark secret of every indicator and tool to make money trading.... In fact, I think that most of it is a big waste of time..... You need to figure out what works FOR YOU and stick to that........ All the rest will come with time......

Once you have something that works you can begin to expand your base to include other indicators and tools that fit...... Just be very selective with changes to anything that works...

It may not sound sexy but it works.....
