During this lull in the action, can some of the more savvy traders tell me how you handle the times when there are a lot of buyers and sellers lined up on L2 but only a trickle of action and little sudden price movement. It's like a "mexican standoff" in trading.

I've been in the middle of trades when this occurs, and have no clue as to which way the price will break from this condition. The problem is that it often moves with great strength once the deadlock is broken, usually the "wrong" way for me!

How do you interpret this action?
