Oh, ye of little faith! The NASDAQ Comp peaked July 20, 1998 and took until Aug. 5 to drop 10% before finally taking a 30% hit on Oct. 8. I believe this most recent decline was only 8%, and it started Feb.1-- not that many trading days.
As an interesting aside, my screen on IQ charts of technology companies with bullish candlestick reversal patterns has turned up zilch over the last three days. That's pessimism!
So there will most likely be some more selling crescendo affording buying opportunities. I plan to avail myself of each and everyone of them.
But this volume with only 3 million shares out is scary!
