Miss X wanted me to expand on my comment of No. I shall. No we don't take volume into consideration at any point in time. volume shows up in the price of the stock. lets say ther e is 10,000 bid at 25 and 10,000 offered at 25 1-4 and 100,000 shares comes in to buy. the 10,000 at 1-4 is taken out and then the next 25,000 is taken out at 1-2 and the next 25000 is taken out at 3-4 and the last 40,000 is taken out at 26 the volume is showing up and increasing. Other than that volume is not considered in the P&F chart and is not compared to the average daily volume. There are many hedge related reasons why volume migh show up in a stock which has nothing to do with increasing intrest. T
