reminds me of something Nathan Myhrvold, the CTO of Microsoft, wrote in a 1996 internal memo evaluating "Network Computers":

This looks like a great investment opportunity, for our competitors.

on the surface i don't see how this could be cost-effective for TGNT. assuming a 15% premium, ICGX would cost $1B. Then the time-cost of executing the merger. Then dealing with all ICGX's assets that don't fit TGNT's model, or dealing with shareholder flight since TGNT would no longer be a "pure play" in BBW.
