I own both LU & NT.

I wish I were in your shoes. Like CSCO, I don't see why Nortel can't make some good money from this market sector over the next five years. There's room for everybody, at least as of today.

Your comment...reveals who is cheer leading and who is aware of the facts.

When Nortel reverses the current trend and starts eating Lucent's lunch, I'll drop my pom pons, Jim. Clearly the facts you allude to haven't dissuaded you from buying Lucent stock. The way things look to me right now, Lucent is in a much better position to do further damage to Nortel than Nortel is to damage Lucent (no matter what a misguided analyst may occasionally say). But, as you know, things can change very quickly.

Best of luck!

Mark

I owned NT for the last two years and I also own the QCOM. I sold the NT on the rumors of them buying QCOM's infrastructure division which is bleeding like a stuffed pig.

Something to consider, particularly after the street's reaction to the BAY acquisition.
