thx, cAPSLOCK. I don't care doodlie re political fences. Would you believe he and his organization were previous owners of the 3 malian goldmines and thus involved with Mink Minerals back when Orly was introduced to the Mali operation as a paid engineering consultant for then Falwell's Advisor Chuck Keith,(retired Sr. Editor of Washington Post fame) current and longtime director of Mink? (betcha never thought missionary offerings would go to such noble causes as West Malian goldmine operations, didja?) I'm a Mother, a Grandmother, a sister, a neighbor, a spouse, a friend, a damn good cook, a seamstress, a classically trained pianist and vocalist, an author, a mucho clamored for public speaker, a teacher, a miniaturist, a budding cabinetmaker... oh, and I also have a thang for mah mule, (sorry, genny doesn't vote.) I'm educated, emancipated, liberated, and agitated at the state of affairs in my beloved America. It took this particular prospector until 3AM PST THIS MORNING to finally figure out the reason why spineless Demos/Repubs will not convict THE Liar in MY White House: It is because they are looking in a mirror and can't clearly see the Head Liar because of their own lying reflection glaring back at them. Politicans...I can't stand the lot of them. Haven't met one I'd ever invite to supper, even if they were buying! The sound you hear is the last vestige of my youthful idealism tinkling in shards at my feet. But, fear not... there are 2 sealed Federally filed indictments as of Dec 14, 1998 awaiting unsealing when Billy's Willy, and Hilly's Dilly leave office, regretably in 2001. By that time, tho', it will be too late, because the Constitution will have been set aside via Clinton's top secret, classified PDD's and declaring a state of Panic b/c of Y2K chaos panic... Then we'll be stuck w/the lyin' bastard until he croaks or someone rips his frog off. Lemme see, where was I... Oh, yes, back at the "old mill stream, heading into town to get some vittles (and goldust for change)..." Respectfully back atcha... cAPSLOCK, Personally, I think that '49r is like the majority of Americans who like to complain about a system they seem to so distrust, yet is ran by people who could be their neighbors or relatives or their neighbors. Kinda like everyone who thinks the gov't is a omnipotent power bent upon depriving us all of our liberties with their regulations and laws. But just what the heck is the gov't?? Do these conspiratorialists forget that it is made up of people who clock in and out for 40 hours or more a week, have families, and pay taxes just like everybody else in this country. And just like you have power plays and incompetence in every private sector industry or in your daily jobs, gov't is no different. Problem is, when some idiot in the Government screws up or abuses his power, the whole gov't is blamed as a whole, to include each and every person working for that gov't. And that kind of resentment is what causes wackos like Tim McVeigh to target Federal buildings with truck bombs, killing hundreds of innocent people. And then you have the wackos who want to alledge that Oklahoma City was really staged and performed by the shadow gov't so they don't have to feel ashamed for believing the same anti-gov't tripe that caused terrorists like McVeigh to commit his actions. What about those kids who died in Oklahoma City? Did they deserve to have some idiot try to advance his agenda of protest to such an extreme that he felt warranted premeditated murder of hundreds of people? At least the BATF and FBI can't rationally be accused of premeditated murder based upon the evidence. McVeigh knew exactly what he was doing and the repercussions it would have. Kinda hurts knowing that such a "patriot" as McVeigh shared many of the beliefs about the gov't that many of you seem to display out here. I can't blame you for being embarrassed enough that you have to continue deflecting criticism on the Governmental "Leviathan". Regards, Ron
