I originally thought Starr was a good guy.. however, over the years he's displayed a level of pursuit and haughty demeanor regarding the law which, for me, borders on obsession. We live in a society that loves obsessive people.. Michael Jordon, Pete Rose, Spielberg to Perot. Anyone who rises to the top of any profession in a country approaching 300 million has to be obsessively focused.

Had I been in Starr's position, I would have immediately quit all associations with the outside world on a professional and consulting level. When one is making the President of the United States one's target, there can be no other focus or opinion other than being a nuetral (not biased) investigator. He's failed that charge by continually inserting himself and outside causes into the effort. He brought too much personal and professional baggage to the enterprize and very wrongly believed that his opinions were the law.
