"The Houston operation was awarded a Y2K contract with Air Lockheed for the U.S. facilities. This led to a contract to be their US systems integration company outside of the Year 2000 business for plant floor automation and information systems." (emphasis mine)

This is a perfect example of how clueless TAVA management is when it comes to PR.

Here we have a CORE BUSINESS contract with a leading aerospace firm. A press release announcing it would have shown up on the screens of not just TAVAphiles but every analyst and investor that watches Lockheed-Martin, and there are a bunch of them!

Alas, no mention is made until the conference call, which by the way was poorly attended. Did anyone notice that they ran out of questions before they ran out of time?

Any public relations firm would have been salivating over all the news that was presented at the CC. Can you imagine what they might have done with it?

Our problem is communication and the lack there of. Management has done a great job in building the business, but they need to recognize their short comings and hire someone that knows what they are doing when it comes to PR.
