Clint, Iris and everyone else on this thread,

Am I alone in thinking that the Semi-Equips look awfully toppy around here or am I seeing what I want to see? I know the fundamentals are beginning to turn but all the stocks are way ahead of themselves at this point in the cycle. As a comparison, the disk drives are in much better condition fundamentally but all those stocks have corrected nicely after earnings - I would wait till AMAT's earnings before shorting but it might be a good idea to start shorting the dogs of the sector - eg. LRCX. Technically, the stocks all look like they're beginning to top out.

The one good sign for the market is the response to all the net IPOs today. So I would avoid shorting the nets (or going long) right now.

Talking of shorts, keep an eye out for LHSPF to break support.

Overall, I see a lot of momentum stock breaking down and looking weak.
This of course can change - for now I'd rather wait or play only the leaders,

Later,
- MJ
