Cramer was actually completely correct on the software meltdown last year (which started in July). He said get out of the entire sector around april after the informix results. At that time most of us thought the slowdown was purely engine related and had a lot to do with microsoft entering the space. This probably means nothing to you unless you follow software, but the point is, Cramer was in front on his prediction - before then I thought he was another lemming. Some analysts at Pru and elsewhere were still agressively recommending Sap in October, when anyone even remotely related to the business could see things were grinding to a halt. fwiw
