I received this message today when I tried to log on:

That's a fine way to greet a new customer who hasn't yet made a trade!

Datek confirmed my application (and check) at 8:40am on Wednesday and sent me this e-mail message at 12:40pm:

Thank you for investing with Datek Online.

Please be advised that the status of your Datek Online account, UserName xxxxxxxx, is now frozen. All account functions are prohibited and activity cannot be resumed until the underlying issues are resolved.

If we can provide you with further information regarding your account, please contact the Datek Online Customer Support Center at 1-888-Go-Datek (463-2835), Monday through Friday, between 8 AM and 7 PM ET or e-mail us at support@datek.com.

Anyone have a clue? As I asked in my e-mail to Datek, WHAT underlying issues?
