SIRN?????? Yeah, some msc123 dropped by a couple of hours ago w/ his "IT'S FLYING" routine but most here have seen his profile and typical posts. L2 showed the stock flying straight down from before it posted to below six. About 20 min. ago started to creep back up. Buying starting to pick up slowly. Word on SIRN: (REUTERS) Sirena Apparel <SIRN.O> to open online store Sirena Apparel <SIRN.O> to open online store LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., Feb. 11 (Reuters) - The Sirena Apparel Group Inc., a maker of branded and private-label swimwear, intimate apparel and resortwear, said Thursday it plans to sell its products on the Internet. The company said in a statement that its Online Store, which will be open to consumers sometime in March 1999, initially will feature swimwear, intimates, and active wear under Sirena's own Rose Marie Reid and Hot Water labels at normal retail prices. The company plans to support the store with on-line advertising, through hyperlinks to other web pages, and by promoting the online store on hang tags for merchandise sold through normal retail channels. "We are developing plans to make the Online Store a major contributor to Sirena's future growth," said Chairman Corky Newman. "We will be testing the performance of a number of concepts with our own Rose Marie Reid and Hot Water labels, after which we may extend the breadth and depth of the Online Store to position it as a major force in apparel retailing," he said.
