Doc

I wish you luck on shorting MU. Two weeks ago I made a couple of points shorting. Last week, I waited until the end of the day and shorted at 79-1/8. Next day, although market was looking weaker, MU started going up, so I covered at 80. (nfg!) I have stopped shorting and am staying with puts. I am too battle fatigued to watch the ticks with shorts.

Also, am staying with ProFund Ultra Short OTC. I added to my position today (price will depend on close of NAZ 100 today). Originally, I had intended to invest a maximum of X, and I had actually invested 15% of that. I have now revised that to 185% of X. So my original position is only 8% of maximum. With today's addition, I will be at 16% of maximum. I will add only at levels higher than here.

Mike

I think options expiration are holding some of these (look at TXCC, right at 35...)

...However, the bulls want all that down day from last week back.
Remember the -94 on the NAZ day?

They want it all back, and want to prove they're in charge. I gotta believe this has some components of short covering, however I really agree with you Thean. The tick is anemic, right now only +158. With the NAZ, RUT, OEX and SPX up so strong for the tick not to be AT LEAST + 600 is very worrysome.

Regards.

What do you think, last 10 minutes rally, or collapse?
