I don't have a problem with flowers because they die so rapidly. But I can see where one might prefer not to terminate their lives before they fulfill their natural reproductive functions.

Len, you must be a difficult person to gift...

How about the first hard drive woven from reeds? I know, they'd have to be plucked, screaming, from the marsh before their time, but at least you could have a computor unreliant on that "disgusting industry".
