The sound playback at the beginning of the CC is awful and Ken's cold did not help matters. All that crackling and fade in/out. Back to Lurker mode.

Ed,

Really skeptical of "filling the gap" analysis so long after the
fact. Today was all about timing and a game of chicken. The direction
and duration of the moves were the key. The actual prices at which the
trades went through mattered little. Not that we could have dipped to
$3 or $4 with little difference in the above dynamics.

Well that is certainly a way to get the attention of money. Create
volatility.

I am new to the stock and am not at all an expert on the technology.
FWIW I am bullish given the admitted conservative nature of management.

Does anyone here think that management left "something" for tomorrow?
Does anyone think that they may leave something for the "next day" after the next conference call?

Good Luck All,
Joe

While no one likes to see a shave like we took today, in the longer run, technically this will make for a healthier stock.

We had hoped that an announcement was forthcoming. Maybe it is, maybe it isn't. Two factors led to the retracement today:

1.) Chart breakdown. The past couple of days have broken support levels, but the stock was held up in anticipation of the conference call.

2.) No announcement. Many bought or held waiting/hoping that a tier 1 announcement would be made in conjunction with the CC.

When there was no announcement, the stock started to slide. We had held at 7 1/4 the last couple of tests. It broke that and proceeded to the 50-day moving average.

As someone else posted, couldn't think of a better way to get new investors in :)

As Ed posted, this was a healthy correction filling in some of the gaps that we missed on the way up. Is it over? I can't answer that. But I do like that it has backed and filled (my pocket book doesn't) In the longer term, this will take out some of the concern going forward.

Ed,

I was watching the tick by tick for most of the day and I must admit I'm surprised at what I saw(not that I'm a TA type). What surprised me was that the vast majority of the big blocks(>1000 shares) went off at the ASK. In total I would estimate that far more shares were sold at the ASK than at the bid. Does this mean anything?

My amateur interpretation was that the MM's were unloading inventory or perhaps using excess inventory to shake off some of the smaller players in order to make room(at a great price) for the big boys. Does this make any sense?
