Zanga56,
I would be quite happy if your projection indeed occurs. Realistically though, I would be surprised if they split before showing a quarter with the price solidly above $100.

JMHO.

The annual shareholder's meeting will occur in May. No firm date has been set. They don't have enough shares approved at this time to do a split. I was hoping for an announcement with the last earnings report that the board would rec. a 2:1 split pending shareholder approval, but we didn't get it. Now I think that the announcement will come sometime before the May meeting and that sharholder's will have a chance to authorize the required additional shares it at the meeting.
So it's anybody's guess when the announcement will come. My hunch is that they are not in any big rush and that it will come in late MAR or APR when the share price will be higher and the news will serve to generate additional excitement going into the meeting.
My 3 favorite stocks are MSFT,AOL, and EMC. I think EMC is next "gorilla".
