These guys have it in for FLC ... <g>

Went from strong buy to buy; from buy to neutral ...

A downgrade a week. Maybe they don't like Soros. I'm sure they don't know me ...

Hi Mike. 3 questions for you sir:

1: FLC was downgraded by Dain Rauscher from buy to neutral (Flc was also the worst performer among their peers today quote.yahoo.com. Who are Dain Rauscher, and does the downgrade concern you at all? biz.yahoo.com

2: So far Flc is my first and only oil play, which I bought at 6 7/8. In your opinion, do I double up on flc (under 6) or buy a first slice of a bigger (safer) co like slb, or both?

3: Btw I still own amat<G>, so which April or July puts look best to you?

best regards
Miklosh

To All, I clicked my remote several times this morning to make certain it had actually tuned in CNBS. Here is what they said that made me think I might be somewhere else:

1. They finally figured out that ASPs came down in the box industry and that Dell could be in deep kimshee. Yes, it was a couple of analysts who told them, but at least they finally reported what we have known for months.

2. A guest mentioned that Intel was selling at a multiple far above its norm while the co. is going to, in his words, "have problems." True, way late, dude, but at least it isn't the usual bullish flapdoodle.

Admittedly, I overestimated the gray matter of the analysts, the bulls and the media when I expected they would catch on to the Xmas lies sometime before Xmas. <G> Mid-February, though awfully slow, will do just fine for my April puts. And to hear the truth for a change on All Day Bubblevision made me proud to be a couch potato.
