That's what I personally do, but that is as a substitute for Atlantic City for me as I have repeatedly mentioned. That is not investing in the remotest sense of the word and is gambling pure and simple. I am prepared to lose all the gambling capital, in fact once I lost about 96% of all my capital trying that (yes, I was once foolish enough to try that with all my capital, now I try this for fun and entertainment only and with only about 10-15% of my capital, another 5% used for short term ones).

Just a statutory warning lest the picture looks too rosy. This is not something I recommend anyone trying at home.

instead of "buy make some money...until money is needed"....
think "sell, receive cash immediately and spend it as you like...."
sell side much more lucrative than buy side, odds and time are then your ally...
