Raymond, Speaking of "religion" --- What is so absolutely sacred about QCOM's Chip Rate ?? Seems to me that the intelligent solution, is to state absolutely, that both parties will choose, and verify, (through joint testing) --- A common chip rate which will : 1. Result in maximum available bandwidth (bandpass) for the customer's equipment. 2. No (or acceptable) adjacient channel interference. (With or without guard bands). IE: The customer's needs should be the first, and only priority. To do otherwise, is "dumb", counter-productive, and just plain bad business. Mardy.
