I wonder why any analysts would rate AMD a hold. It is either a screaming sell or a bombastic buy. I guess they are afraid to get caught with their pant to close to their ankles. Half way up or down must feel safer though it is almost certainly wrong. This company will either go belly up in the next year or two or it will thrive at iNTEL's great expense. It is not a hold (ie market performer) Those analysts that rate it so are gutless wonders who know that they are going to be certainly partly wrong. However they are terrified of being extremely wrong as a strong sell or strong buy would result in. I only wish that there were ten more examples like this so that risk could be more uniformly and intelligently spread.
