Of course the citizenry could not stand against an army but no army could ever hold a country of armed citizens. We couldn't do it in Viet Nam, Britain couldn't do it in 1776.

**OT**

The notion that a citizenry armed with hunting rifles and handguns is a match for a well-trained army is nonsense.

If I were part of a well trained army and had the choice of going up against an armed citizenry or an unarmed citizenry, I'd chose the unarmed every time.

Regards,
Bill

Remember when a million dollars a day in online sales was considered good? or 5 million. How about more than that in one order.

Switzerland: great example of a country which keeps its neutrality through every household being armed.
